Good morning! A quick note about language arts this week. I have moved a couple of due dates since last week, so here is what we have going on:
We will be working on revising and editing poems on Monday and Tuesday of this week. The published poems will be due on Friday, but Tuesday is the last day we will be working on them during class.
I had to move our computer lab time last week, so we will be in the lab this Wednesday working on revising our Chapter 14 writing assignments. Anyone who would like to turn in their revisions for credit will need to do so by Friday, November 13.
In terms of reading, we are moving out of poetry this week and will begin our introduction to nonfiction by studying nonfiction text structures.
Lastly, students should be learning their “man/manu” root words for Tuesday’s classwork check-up. There will be a quiz on Friday on all twenty “ped” and “man/manu” words.
The schedule for this week can be found on my website, www.mrsbarrowsclass.pbworks.com.
Have a fantastic week!
